Estate agents should be selling, not typing.
So everything we build is designed to disappear into the background of an agent's day, not to demand more of their attention.
The story behind FRET Systems
Every part of FRET Systems was shaped by nearly seven years spent inside a real estate agency, sitting alongside agents who kept saying the same thing. "I did not get into sales, just to do admin 24/7."
Why FRET exists
For almost seven years, the founder of FRET Systems was a working estate agent. Same offices as everybody else. Same instructions, same viewings, same offers, same chains, same late nights chasing solicitors on a Friday afternoon.
In that time he worked alongside hundreds of agents. Different agencies. Different areas. Different levels of experience. And almost all of them, when you asked them what they actually disliked about the job, said the same thing.
"I spend too much of my week doing paperwork. I spend too little of it selling."
Not one of them got into the business to type. Not one of them was excited to spend Friday afternoon updating a CRM instead of calling a hot prospect. Not one of them felt the repetitive admin was moving them closer to their next commission. And yet, week after week, that is exactly where the hours went.
FRET Systems was built to change that. To take the paperwork, the chase-ups, the follow-ups, the copy-pasting between systems, the same three emails typed for the tenth time this week, and push them quietly out of the way. So that the people who chose to become agents can spend their day doing the parts of the job they actually chose it for.
That, put simply, is why FRET Systems exists.
A name with a promise built in
FRET is short for Forjoe Real Estate Technology Systems. It carries the surname of the founder, because we thought long and hard about the kind of company we wanted to build and we are prepared to stand behind it personally.
It also, deliberately, doubles as a word an agent would use when a deal is drifting. "I've been fretting about this all week." "Don't fret, I'll chase it." That double meaning was not an accident. It is the whole promise in a single verb.
Don't FRET.
We take care of the admin so you can focus on selling.
What we believe
01
So everything we build is designed to disappear into the background of an agent's day, not to demand more of their attention.
02
So we build only for real estate sales agencies. Not for lettings, not for property management, not for a dozen other industries at once. It means we say no to a lot of interesting work. It also means when we say yes, we know what we are doing.
03
So FRET works alongside the systems you already pay for, rather than asking you to rip and replace. Migrations are painful. We would rather solve the actual problem than sell you a new logo.
04
So we do not lock agencies into long contracts. If FRET stops giving your agents time back, you should be able to leave without a fight. We would rather earn a renewal than hold one hostage.
Where we're going
FRET launched with a specific promise: give real estate sales agencies their selling time back. That promise will not change. What will change is how much we cover. Every month, we build new pieces of the sales day into the FRET background so that agencies can quietly take more of their admin off the desk without changing suppliers, systems, or ways of working.
If you want to know what we are working on next, tell us on a discovery call. Some of the most useful things we have built started as an aside from an owner describing their week.
A real person will call you back within one working day
Don't FRET.
We take care of the admin so you can focus on selling.
